Servers get the credit. But every data centre, from a five-rack server room to a 16 MW hyperscale build, lives or dies on the systems most people never see: the power path, the airflow, the fire suppression, and the floor everything sits on. Why Passive Infrastructure Is as Important as IT Equipment

Servers process data. The systems around them keep that data and the business alive. Four disciplines carry the weight:
